    Quirky charm with great ambiance

I had a lovely stay in a beautifully decorated room that maintained its historic character, making it a unique experience. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, and I really enjoyed the hearty English breakfast served in a charming candlelit setting. the road noise occasionally disrupted my sleep, so it would be beneficial to consider soundproofing the rooms facing the street.

I adored the charming decor throughout The Bull And Swan, with its rustic beams and comfortable seating areas, making it very inviting and accessible for enjoying conversations with friends.

More accessibility options for those with mobility issues.

    charming hotel
    vibrant restaurant
    stunning views
    lack of play area

My family and I enjoyed a delightful stay at the charming hotel. The vibrant restaurant offered mouthwatering food, making our evenings special as we relaxed with stunning views of Stamford's period buildings. The comfort of our room was exceptional, a perfect retreat after exploring the area with my fiancé.

My children wished for a dedicated play area for kids.

    distant parking

Right from the start, we were impressed by the charming decor and the cozy atmosphere. The garden area had a lovely spot to unwind with its beautiful flowers and a peaceful seating area, perfect for relaxation. Just a heads-up, the parking arrangement was a bit far, but it didn't spoil our stay at all! 😊

The quirky, old building added charm to our stay, with a spacious room featuring a stunning bathroom. The dining experience was delightful. breakfast included a delicious full English and fresh pastries. The location allowed easy access to local attractions, though it faced some daytime noise due to traffic. Staff were exceptionally accommodating and friendly, enhancing the warm atmosphere.

    Nice
    6.0

The building has a unique character, with individual room designs that showcase its historic roots. Quality toiletries, a Nespresso machine, and delicious biscuits add those special touches that elevate the experience, making it feel more intimate than your average pub with rooms.

Our room, dubbed the 'Classic Room,' felt a bit cramped, lacking adequate storage space and privacy, especially being directly above the noisy kitchen. The decor seemed tired and the television was slow to respond after switching it on, not exactly ideal for some downtime. The breakfast was a letdown, taking far too long to arrive, and the scrambled eggs were merely microwaved and lukewarm upon serving.
